Contacting the School

We value the relationship with our parents and carers. Communication is a key factor in making this relationship work.

Please use our main Reception telephone number 01442 266150 and our main school email address admin@jfk.herts.sch.uk and ask to be directed to the appropriate member of staff. Ideally, your first point of contact should be with your child’s Form Tutor. The next level of contact should be with your child’s Achievement Leader/Assistant.

The School Day

8.50 - 9.10am Registration

9.10 - 10.10am Period 1

10.10 - 11.10am Period 2

11.10 - 11.35am Break

11.35 - 12.35pm Period 3

12.35 - 1.35pm Period 4 (during summer exam season this will be lunch)

1.35 - 2.30pm Lunch (during summer exam season this will be Period 4)

2.30 - 3.30pm Period 5

This equates to 33 hours and 20 minutes in school on a typical week, excluding before and after school activities.
