A message from the Leadership Team
As the Senior Student Leadership Team, we would like to express our excitement and gratitude for taking up these positions along with our ambition to be role models to JFK students. We aim to inspire all students to fulfil their potential in school and beyond, all while demonstrating leadership, dedication and, above all, love for the JFK School Community. Another goal we hope to achieve, as the Student Leadership Team, is to emphasise the importance of faith in the school environment. Our faith is what joins us together as a community, and it is essential that we keep our beliefs at the centre of our school.
For us, ‘Living in the faith’, means adapting to the needs of the people around us and working together in harmony, striving to achieve a common goal. It is the union of many individuals, all with different god-given gifts and talents, and varying backgrounds coming together as one community and utilising them for the greater good of all.
Jesus teaches us that we are stronger together and can achieve so much and I think JFK demonstrates this perfectly.
Student Leadership Team
Raphael Salido
My name is Raphael, and I am one of the student leaders at JFK. I envision JFK as a place where each student can learn more about themselves as they progress throughout the years, and develop their talents and skills in order to be of service to God and others. As a student leader, I hope to support the younger years on their JFK journey, ensuring that they can reach their full potential, as well as promoting an environment in which each student feels a deep sense of purpose and belonging.
Grace Kelly-Whyte
Hi, my name is Grace Kelly-Whyte. I feel extremely privileged to be part of this year's student leadership team, and I’m excited to have a positive influence on the school and students. Over my time in leadership, I aim to encourage students to get involved and take advantage of opportunities in the school. I hope to use my experiences throughout the school to help others and set a good example.
Emma Kandiah
Throughout my time at JFK, I have always aspired to become a member of the Student Leadership Team. This allows me to be a role model that demonstrates leadership, professionalism, dedication and, above all, love for the JFK School community. I hope to inspire younger students to step out of their comfort zones and to achieve their best potential at school and beyond.
Gemma East
